As a keen outdoorsman in the Northumberland area I have spent the last few years exploring some of the lesser seen sights the county has to offer and a bit further beyond.

With its stunning coast line, the rolling Cheviot Hills of the National Park and its long and turbulent history means there is so much to see and I have barely begun to scratch the surface. On the whole I have not spent much more than the Fuel and occasional parking fee as well as my time to see some really beautiful places.

To find these places I have spent hours trawling through the interweb, ages pouring over OS maps, taking detours when I see signs to places that pique my interest and on several occasions I’ve had to make several attempts to find the best way to get to these places. With all that effort I thought I’d share the benefit of my experience my mistakes and my love of photography with anyone who is interested.

As well as all the photos from my adventures I have also included a few more from my personal repertoire in my GALLERY. All photographs were taken by me (exept one) and are my intellectual property.
